Description: This session focuses on the Point of Care Testing (POCT), and Provider Performed Microscopy (PPM), providing professionals with the necessary knowledge to meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIS) requirements.  Participants will learn about the advantages and limitations of POCT and PPM and their impact on patient care.  The session covers CLIA regulations, including personnel qualifications, quality control, and documentation.  Session faculty will discuss practical insights, case studies, and strategies for overcoming compliance in the clinic setting.  Attendees will learn to implement CLIA-compliant POCT and PPM programs and stay informed about emerging technologies and regulatory updates.
